Our team provides Membrane Interface Probe logging, a full range of field analytical methods and data processing solutions.
MIP is a high-resolution direct sensing down-hole VOC screening tool, capable of delineating VOC contamination in soil and groundwater, including vapor phase, dissolved phase, absorbed phase, LNAPL and DNAPL.
MIP is typically used in combination with confirmatory sampling and analysis. When paired with powerful analytical instrumentation, MIP allows us to quickly detect, delineate, and speciate contaminants. On-site data processing offered by our team allows our clients to employ Dynamic Workplans, improving data quality and leading to cost savings of 20 to 40% with a significant reduction of time required for site characterization. Our team has incorporated new technologies such as Ion Fingerprint Detection Software and is constantly working on bringing cutting-edge technology to our clients.
Our MIP personnel have been involved in refining the MIP technology since 1996. We have worked with initial prototype units, pioneering many design and procedural changes. We have tested new configurations and have developed SOPs, data interpretation and QA procedures.
